It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of our own, David Adam McKelvey, who passed away in his sleep on November 5, 2023. Adam was an honored and respected colleague of the Crandall &
Katt legal family, having represented clients of the firm since March of 2008.
Adam was listed as a Rising Star with Super Lawyers, a nationally recognized peer review organization that highlights excellence in the legal profession. He was a member of the Roanoke Bar Association Board of Directors and was admitted to practice at all levels of State and Federal Courts.
Adam had a personality that was larger than life to many. He was truly an advocate for the less fortunate and downtrodden, and when not litigating cases passionately on their behalf, he devoted much of his spare time to helping those in need. The Crandall & Katt family will miss him in many ways that are hard to describe, and we honor him as we pray for comfort for his family.
